Multi-Unit Development
A contemporary retreat rooted in Balinese tradition
The Vision & Context
Aspirar Da Riva elegantly redefines multi-unit coastal luxury, creating a contemporary sanctuary deeply rooted in tropical tranquility. Nestled along the serene, light-filled landscape, the primary challenge of this project was balancing structural density across the expansive footprint while preserving an absolute sense of individual privacy and collective calm.
Architectural Concept & Spatial Flow
The architectural narrative unfolds through a sophisticated interplay of double-height structural volumes and seamless spatial fluidity. Designed to dissolve the boundaries between built form and nature, the architecture utilizes massive, clean-lined geometric frames contrasted against open-air pavilions.
Materiality & Interior Curation
The interior concept embodies the essence of “quiet luxury” through a highly tactile, neutral material palette that celebrates raw authenticity and sophisticated refinement. Smooth, monolithic plaster walls serve as a gallery-like backdrop, beautifully balanced by the rich warmth of custom, full-height timber joinery and slatted partitions.
